Kohl Art Gallery deals with contemporary regional Indian art. The gallery's Kohlateral initiative aims at conceptualizing and producing experiential sessions among creative spaces, art and design practitioners and varied audiences through curated gatherings.
The artist's oeuvre is informed by his study of ancient civilizations and cultures, vignettes of which are apparent in his works featuring architectural forms, ancient artifacts, urban landscapes and maps of cities. A recipient of the National Award by Lalit Kala Akademi, Rajesh has held exhibitions and conducted public art projects in India and Iraq, Iran, Kurdistan, Dubai and London.
