excellence re-inforced
On a special referral, we arrived at this quaint, cosy joint tucked away in Colaba. Lighted trees welcome you to its entrance. Enter, and a neat and romantic verandah further welcomes you. Complete with lighted candles, wooden furniture, and minimalist lighting, the place provides a thorough romantic setting sans the humidity and heat of Mumbai.
The seating inside the air-conditoned ambience is near-perfect too; small, but appreciated!
Fondues seemed to be the best-seller, but to be in tune with my latest dietary regime, we stuck to the basics; watermelon juice (Rs. 90/-), mushroom chicken, and corn soup served hot, (Rs. 100/-) extermely delectable and tender grilled chicken served with a salad, mashed potatoes, roasted potatoes, and an assortment of bread (Rs. 250/-), a chargrilled chicken salad with salad leaf, bell peppers, and baby tomatoes (Rs 220/-). a veg panini with roasted bell peppers and salad (Rs. 180/-) dished out a colorful and exotic meal.
I gave the deserts a rest. but we did order a gooey chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream (Rs. 90/-) for the table, which was definitely in sync with the supreme standard of the food so far.
