Authentic Bengali Food at its Best!
For all the suburb'ites, who do not want to travel all the way to Tardeo (in town), Oh! Calcutta has a branch in Andheri west too...
Close to the Lokhandwala Circle in Shastri Nagar...
In my opinion, although the food is heavenly, it is quite pricey.
The betki and other sea-food items are freshly prepared and wait time after order placement is around 15-20 mins for the items to be prepared...
The starters, and mutton curry with luchi's (something like the North Indian puris) are delicious!
They have a well-stocked bar and the place is quite cozy...
On the pricing, it is a little premium...not like the 5 star pricing,but a decent meal for 2 will set you back by around Rs.1000/- (without alcohol).
The Andheri outlet is not too huge with around 12-15 tables..so in case you are planning to go on a weekend, try and inquire about availability before venturing there.
All in all a great experience!
