We visited the place a second time last week, after almost a year and I am happy to report that we had an enjoyable experience. Enough has been said about the ambience, we like sitting out, even though it's quite noisy.
We ordered the fire-fry - which is paneer chunks in a kind of spicy arabiatta sauce - a nice starter for vegetarians. The charcoal grilled mushrooms were simply done brushed with balsamic vinegar and served with a nice dipping sauce.
But, the best of the starters was the chopped Arabic salad, the vegetables were very very fresh and crisp, and in a light dressing topped with toasted sesame seeds - it was a fresh burst of flavour and we'll surely order it the next time.
For the main course we both had the same pasta - spagetti in tomato basil sauce with grilled vegetables...the portion was considerably large and since we had opted for the saucier version, it was a big plate and tough to finish. The pasta was quite high on the salt though.
In drinks, I tried the non alcoholic cranberry surprise - which was fairly good.
With 2 Peroni beers and a supersize Mojito, the bill came to around 2400 - Food was just around Rs.1200 or so.
Service was attentive and prompt. In fact we asked them to delay the main course a bit so that we could go slow - and they happily obliged despite being a Saturday and plenty of waiting etc etc.
We loved everything that we had ordered, and the overall experience was very pleasant. Will surely go back for the fondue and sizzlers.
