Good place for a quick bite

Picasso does not have anything to do with the artist, the Rennaisance era or Greece. But the food here is good.
I had gone there on a Sunday afternoon and surprisingly this is the only place in the entire Link Road belt extending from Malad to Andheri which was not packed to the gills.
This is not a date place. So if you want to impress a special someone, that person might not take very kindly to the peeling paint plasters or the slightly musty upholstery. But if you want good food and not very expensive at that, then this is a good joint.
I had a non veg platter for Rs 450, which unfortunately had too much chicken in it. There were chicken reshmi kababs, chicken hariyali kabab, chicken tandoori tikka, mutton sheek kabab and another kabab, the name of which I forgot to ask the steward. Actually, the steward was very helpful and advised us on what to go, the quantity we would get, even cautioning us from ordering more, saying that a lot might then get leftover. It felt good to have someone else decide for you on what was best at offer in the place.
The kababs, except for the reshmi ones, were good and succulent. The reshmi kabab seemed to have been doused in the marinade for way too long and was therefore too soggy.
We wanted to order a gravy based item, which could be hand with rotis, but the friendly neighborhood steward advised us against it. Instead he recommended a special paratha of the hotel which went fantastically with the kababs. In fact the parathas were so good, that just two of us had five of them and then could barely find place for the chicken biryani we had ordered.
This entire meal cost us around Rs 660, which I think is good value for money for a leisurely Sunday lunch.
Also, they have happy hours from 11am to 5pm offering a 20% discount off the menu price. Which gives me another impetus to dig in here this Sunday as well.
