This place serves tasty authentic Kashmiri food with such a good service that can only come from the heart of true a Kashmiri. You can even sit inside a Shikara and have your meal.
We started this exotic food journey with a Qawah (Kawah). Its a herbal tea drink, made with cinnamon, cardamom, saffron and almonds. I would highly recommend that you start and end your meal with a Qawah. Its the most tasty tea I've had ever!
As recommended by the owner, I went in for a Kashmiri Thali. It consisted of bowls of dum aloo, rajma, brinjal (eggplant), Paneer subzi & spinach and lotus root subzi. Just loved the rajma and dum aloo.
If going to Kashmir is a far shot for you, I recommend visiting this place just for its food, service and the shikara.
For those who were wondering, "Poush" means flower in Kashmiri.
