been there on a friday night with friends and family.. as usual good food but a lot noise(i think shey should have thought about some acoustic material on walls to considering the small areas of indoor restaurent, its quite cramped as such)...as usual we ordered our drinks and starters.. as expected, food was really good.. and we were enjoying the evening..
we ordered our hot favorite meat and dal-fry..now, i assume its a fair expectation that the dal should be served in a bowl and not on plate (how do i eat that with roti or paratha)... we get the answer from waiter that they dont have bowls..!! after some argument he got us Soup bowls for dal !! isnt it funny...any way, we wanted to give this feedback to the manager..so we called him..
one mr. subrato arrived standing at backside of our chairs..(may be to avoid any eye contact) to our surprise, he was not even interested in speaking to us and was extremely rude as if he is giving food for free.. told us that they dont have bowls and its their policy.. and dal is supposed to be eaten with rice ! (news to us) we asked him to call or give number of the responsible person for this.. and the reply was .. they are on holiday.. and he is not authorized to give their number..
I fail to understand that how come this Indian/Punjabi restaurant safely assumes thay there is no need to keep reuierd accessories to serve food on their menu ? and expect that everyone will have dal with rice only !!!
we were more disappointed with the attitude of manager rater than food... i recommend if you have choice, avoid this restaurant.. or may be take a parcel.... or carry couple of bowls when you go there..:)
