Urban Tudka
I really hate this place. Its all decked up with some pretty cool rural style furniture and decor and would impress people who are more into the ambience than the food but I have to say that this place dissapointed me. Urban Tadka is owned by the same group that owns Pop Tates (which i pretty much hate too) and Timbuktoo. What iv noticed with these resturants is that while they have some pretty clever interiors and the place has a nice theme to it, the food isnt really any good. I had a butter chicken, naan and some kababs here and didnt really tihnk much of it and would definatly avoid it. The place somehow lacked any class and really is kinda crap. Surpirsingly there was a wait at the restaurant and it was pretty busy when I went there (on a weekend). This resulted in some really poor service and we literally had to catch hold of a waiter to make him take our order. The waiters had no training in the menu and just wrote down what we said and didnt know how to answer any questions about the food. The food took pretty long to arrive. The place isnt cheap and though Im not sure I tihnk it was around 200 per dish. Overall Id never go here again.
