A quintessential udipi joint
This place is just like any other udipi joint strewn all over the place. There is a garland of fruits hanging right at the entrance. There is a stall where the cook bangs on a pan for making pav bhaji. There is the payment counter with the brightly lit pictures of gods and goddesses adorned with lots of flowers. And there is the AC section which had a higher priced menu and the non AC section with the metal chairs and tables.
The food is nothing out of the blue. It is the standard fare that you get everywhere. The Chinese Bhel is nice though a true blooded Chinese would get a heart attack looking at it.
The Mysore Masala Dosa is something I have been having here for the past 10 years.
The best part about this place is that it does not make a dent in your pocket.
Also, this is the kind of place where kids running amok are not frowned upon.
