Awful Service
Well , there are only a few places in mumbai where i've been for a dinner or lunch. but one thing is for sure. i'm not visiting red box cafe again. the waiters really made me mad, when they asked me to leave as their restaurant was getting over-crowded and people were waiting outside for tables. actually they did not ask me to leave, but gave us the cheque without being asked for it (which in restaurant parlance means , please leave, we are interested in serving you anymore). when i asked the waiter, he bluntly said, sir, a lot of people are waiting outside.
it's another matter altogether , that had he not brought the cheque, i would''ve asked for it. but then again that's not the point here. we were in the company of women, so i do not think we were being obscene. they was no kissing, smooching, petting on anyone of our part. so i guess it must be just the restaurant.
anyways the reason i gave it 2 starts (instead of 1) is that food was nice. we did order a couple of dishes and they all turned out to be really tasty. it's been two-three months now since i went there, and now i do not remember the names of those dishes. one was beef corn something though.
