good experience, mediocre food

I can not agree completely with other reviewers here. Corleone has a great ambiance and awesome decor. On weekends, find a mariachi trio serenading every table with your requests - fantastic! But the restaurant falls pretty flat on its face with the menu composition and the basic taste of their food. Tried the mushroom app and did not find them to be so great - average, at best. For dinner, I simply had their insalata mista (mixed greens salad) and it was ok - dressing could have been more inventive. I tried friends dishes - a ravioli dish, which totally skimped on stuffing, and some penne pasta with aubergine, which was the winner of the night.

Drinks: had a glass of Syrah which was pitiful. Undeveloped taste and horribly lost in character. The espresso to end the night was watered down, which was very disappointing. All in all, nice for the live music, and maybe a good date place to impress the guy, but I can think of better places for the whole experience.
