Often on my way back from college a few years ago, I remember a 10 year old Chinese boy often lugging along the alley, a stripped plastic bag full of fresh veggies with spring onions jutting out. Young Kenny single-handedly manages his father’s Chinese restaurant now. This Chinese family is well respected in my neighbourhood for successfully running this little business for over 12 years. They are Chinese but speak fluent Hindi and English. They make their money mainly through home delivery.
Kenny is always very helpful with a ton of recommendations but here are some of my own anyway - Mushroom chill, Chinese bhel, crispy veg, veg steamed wantons, veg clear soup with mushrooms, veg man chow soup, egg/veg haka noodles, triple schezuan rice and if you are the daring type try the American chopsuey. The food is sightly oily as compared to regular chinese food but that’s the fun of it. For those of you who didn't know, old school thumbs up goes really well with chinese food. Also, Kenny can arrange for 'other stuff' from the local store on special request if he likes you. The restaurant is very clean by normal Indian-Chinese joint standards but please don't start comparing it to mainland’s and aromas of the world. You can enjoy an entire meal for 4 here at the price you might pay for one dish at one of those chi-chi places.
Directions: it is in the same alley as Oh Calcutta Express just a bit further down.
