What was I thinking??
There is a old proverb which says " Make a mistake once and you are a fool. Make the mistake again..and thou shall kick your sorry behind".
Okay, I made that line up but it is so apt for my situation.
I hated this place before when I had visited it. But I guess I was in a self hating mood on a lazy Sunday evening. So out of sheer apathy and the intense need to punish myself, I headed to China Gate at Atria mall.
What can I say because I have no one to blame but me.
The soups were spilled on the side bowl, the vegetables were raw in the pan fried noodles, the margarita had no flavor, the chopsticks they served to eat the food with looked like they were made out of cheap bucket plastic right at the back of the restaurant, the waiters kept giving me creepy smiles...And above that, the background music was so loud that we literally had to shout to talk to each other!!!
Classy ambiance I must say!
By the end of it, I was ready to jump off the third floor of the mall in turn hoping for a quick death which should had been less painful.
The bill for two came upto 1100 bucks which made my pain turn into sheer misery and self loathing. By the way..we didn't order for desserts! ( Just imagine the bill then!)
Yes. I am ready to kick myself now.
