Where should I start...
I went to White last Friday, mainly because Nikhil and Pearl were gonna be spinning some EDM...and was shocked to find out White were now charging 1200 bucks (all cover, thankfully) at the doors!
The place is more-or-less nicely made, apple-inspired all white minimalist design (iClub? iBar? iLounge?) A bit cramped, and the loos suck (right next to the sorry excuse for a dj console, and you have jump over the pot to actually close the door! Not to mention the stench around the dj console! ugh!)
The lasers give it a very clubby feel, although you can tell the place wants to be a lounge-bar and not a club...and what pissed me off the most was that the bartenders took somewhere between 25-35 minutes to serve me my ONLY drink of the night. The place was packed, but seriously guys, pick it up! And 310 bucks for a small Vodka OJ isnt exactly VFM, atleast as compared to Squeeze/Seijo...heck, even Aurus is cheaper!
The only saving grace (for me) was the EDM music nights that they have now established to be held once-twice a month with house/trance DJs.
