All Sports Bar (barians)!
All Sports Barbarians are coming through, at a place near you – to make you feel like a fu*king SHOE!
talking about All Sports Bar / Was there to watch the Brazilian GP with a few friends – was not in a super mood coz I was fending for Kimi Raikkonen the apparent underdog pitched against the title favored Hamilton and Alonso.
While looking for a table I met Mr. Madan (remember the name) a server who almost got me and a few others break a bottle on his head. Ordered for a first round of drinks, jalapeño poppers, steaks and sandwiches – and got busy with the start.
For our second order Mr. Madan gave us a Xeroxed piece of paper which had different prices (about 40% more than their other food menu). When we asked why there are two cards in circulation the response was vague. He told us that the second menu has all taxes included and is applicable for the day. It got me pissed because I had already called for my first order from their regular menu, cleared the amount and got a bill for that.
Engrossed in the race, we avoided further discussion and placed our second order from the Xeroxed piece of paper. The required stuff was delivered and I handed over my card to make the payment. This time Mr. Madan cabbaged an extra Rs. 500 from my card over and above the order value. I came to know when I asked for a bill which was denied because I ordered from their second menu – clear double standards.
The cashier in a low pitched yap admitted that it was a mistake and they’ll adjust the amount in my next order. I got busy celebrating Kimi’s victory and left the issue to be discussed with their management next time – but I doubt there will be a next time.
