Angeethi is place to be if one wants to have authentic north-Indian food in Mumbai sub-urbs. The place offers a wide variety of dishes to choose, right from starters to main course to desserts. The menu actually weighs a lot ;-)
In terms of ambiance, the place is not the best. Right from the waiting area to sitting place, its all just so average. I feel they could have done a much better job with lighting.
Back to food - we ordered Tandoori Bharwana Aloo and some Subzi S....(I don't remember) to begin with - which were delicious. In the main course, there is lots to choose from if one is a vegetarian and wants to have something besides Paneer.
The bad part of dining at Angeethi though, is a waiting and service time. We almost waited for an hour and ended up spending 2 hrs after we got our chance to sit in. So go there, if you have all the time in the world. Or try your luck by calling and putting your name is the waiting list.
However, the taste and quality of food makes up for the wait! I am definitely going there again! Hear that they have a very good Sunday brunch....
