It may have other redeeming factors other than its fairly nice ambience, decor and service. But quantity, quality and taste of food are not among Wongwong's strong points. Prices ranged between Rs.150 (for tiny portion veg starters) to Rs.1800 (can't remember for which dishes). The broadest range of food was between Rs.300 - 500.

Their menus are confusing to say the least. The is a drinks menu, a starters + rice + noodles menu AND a main course menu including some other starters + rice + noodles and other dishes divided into Thai and Chinese sections. The spicy food is not marked with the standard chilli mark, but the mild food is. The redeeming point about the last, is that the steward taking the order pointed that out.

The lamb in the lamb thai rice that we ordered was tough and not fresh. Portion for the main course was just enough for one, unless both are poor eaters and tasted more like the "Indian Chinese" variety than authentic. Fried corn curd was more like pakoras!!

Can't speak for the drinks and desserts as we didn't try them. The average bill per person if you stick to the lowest cost basic stuff without drinks would be Rs.500.

Location is in prime business district but is not the kind of place you place you would choose for an office lunch with colleagues. If you are looking for a quite place to conduct a slow business meeting over lunch and don't particularly care about the food, this is the place for you.
