Told to "VACATE" the Table
It was my dad's 70th birthday & we were a group of 12 family members out for dinner for a 8.30 booking on 21st july [sat].
drinks...my apple & hazelnut Martini gets full marks.
the service was erratic & after dinner was served our waiter & steward chose to ignore us.
not much choice for veggies. the usual chinese items were missing from the menu so the kids had to miss out on their std favorite dishes. Not a place for kids.
the ambience & crowd was classy....a change from our regular haunt China Garden.
what put all of us off & shocked us was that at 11.15pm as we sipped our chinese tea & waited for the paid bill to be returned, we were told TO VACATE THE TABLE as they had another booking.....after spending 10 grand , the last thing we expected were to be told to F_ _k off.
5 minutes later, on our way out all we saw were 5-6 persons sitting awaiting a table.
guess, VANG WONG really showed their "CLASS"....and so did We as we made our way home quietly WITHOUT CREATING A SCENE. we simply swore never to visit the place again!!
