Finally Almost Authentic Thai Food
I have been searching for months for real Thai food in Mumbai(everyone raves about Thai Pavillion but it is shut) so I made a reservation at Vong Wong. The whole venue was very refreshing for some reason....I kind of felt as if I had left Mumbai....cant put my fingder on what element made it so refreshing. Anways in regars to the food, I had the basic...papaya salad(hitting close to what you get on the streets in Bangkok), Tom Yum(excellent after I asked for extra fish sauce, chilli, vinegar & sugar). green curry(thumbs up), pad thai(above average)
So I would have to say I would come back...
A little on the high side in regars to cost but for above average thai food I would do anything!
