My only gripe with Brio's is the fact that they don't have enough seating area to deal with all the customers that keep on rolling in. It really is a pokey little location and if you move your around you're bound to hit someone. Jokes aside, there really is only one objective measure of any eating joint and that's the grub they serve.
On that count, Brio's is stellar. Their coffees are always what you expect of a good coffee joint...good to great tasting and easy on the wallet. They even have a few odd-ball items well worth a try if you have an adventurous streak. Take for instance the Iced Chocolate Coffee, which in essence is just Black Coffee with a dash of Chocolate sauce and ice cubes thrown in for good measure. Now I liked the sound of it, so I took my chances. One sip, and the explosion of taste on my palate was enough to convince me I had made the right choice. For all you guys who aren't chocoholics, there is an option available sans the chocolate.
Then there's the Pastas and Sandwiches, most of which are absolutely divine. The Pizzas are a big no-no, but then why would you want pizzas from a coffee shop?
The Desserts are great too, and a special mention goes to the Chocolate croissant. The Chocolate chips twist, Mousse and the cheesecakes were all pretty good too, but the croissant was the show stealer for me.
My only genuine grudge is the lack of space, and on that note I raise a toast of the cuppa that cheers to Brio. Kudos and may your cup of joy never overflow..more power to your brews!!
