Excellent Starters

So, a new Jashan opened in Vile Parle east, pretty close to the airport and I was one of the lucky few to be invited for the opening lunch party. :) :) :)

Its beautifully designed.. in two separate sections, one - a classic sit down restaurant, with a soothing water wall up front and a dessert display on the side.

The other section is totally different, it's a dimly lit lounge like sit down with comfortable sofas, red walls, three beautiful paintings, a bar and a plasma screen. A perfect set up for drinks with a fun group or perhaps to watch a game with friends.

We had a few starters - a peppery paneer dish, chicken tikka kebab, chicken reshmi kebab, prawn tempuras, all really good.

Though we didn't order any drinks, the cocktail menu looked really interesting. Will surely revisit for a proper meal and drinks and write back.
