If you are prepared for a long wait before being seated and a little noise while you are inside, this is the best place to fine-dine in Malad.
Everything about this place is good. The hotel has made sure that though it is surrounded by buildings from every viewable area, it has created an artifical garden with a stone stork and small pond, to blot out staring at a concrete structure from your table.
The food is very good. The fish is fresh and you can even detail how you want it to be prescribed.
It has a good collection of mocktails and cocktails. If you however do not like ice in your drink than you have to be a bit faster telling it to the waiter, who is bound to plonk an icecube as soon as he places your drink before you.
The tandoor cuisine is the best choice in the menu. In the soups, I personally like the cream of mushroom and spinach soup, which is not very salty, but instead is well spiced.
In the starters section, try the chicken reshmi kababs. They are succulent.
Recently, when I was out here celebrating a friend's birthday, the steward not only gave a bunch of yellow roses to the birthday boy, but also clicked a Polaroid picture of all of us and and gave it to us.
You get very good service here. Though a tad expensive this is a great place to go out when you want to be pampered as you dine.
