First impressions can be truly deceptive. I went there first on Valentine's day. Needless to say it was over crowded and the waiting time for seating and food was ridiculous - basically too much to handle for a new place. Thankfully, the food was tasty enough and my love for Italian food high enough for me to give it another shot and I was wonderfully surprised. I have been there quite a few times after that and now its high up in my list of favorite restaurants.
The ambiance is really good -the low lighting and white sofas creating a nice feel. The food is very authentic Italian and so is the menu - some of the names can be real tongue twisters! But the staff is courteous and knowledgeable enough to explain and help you order. They will also customize the dishes on the menu if you ask.
I have tried pretty much everything on offer for vegetarians here and I have been impressed by them all - the pastas, the pizzas, the risotto - everything is good to great. Even though the starters are pretty good, they come in small portions - just enough for two to share.
All in all a very nice place for a romantic evening or to chill out with a bunch of friends.
