Same old coffee in a new cup
Happened to go over to Costa's a few days ago, and I was always wondering just how good it would be. My curiosity won out in the end and I did make a beeline for it. The upside was the fact was that it had a nice layout and feel to the place and the little freezer to the side that displayed the sandwiches in a reasonably prominent and appealing manner. Another thumbs up to the three sizes they have available in their coffees. For me, the bummer was the fact was that the coffees were nothing great or different from the usual stuff and the paninis, wraps, et al weren't particularly outstanding either. The desserts did seem inviting, but by the time I got around to them, I was too disillusioned to humor my sweet tooth. Another time maybe.
Oh yeah, it's also pricier than the norm, so keep that little fact in mind as well! All in all, it's worth a visit...but then I love coffee, so maybe I'm a (bit) biased!
