This pure road-side stall, situated directly under Cooper Hospital in Irla (near Amar Juice Centre), opens up his area to the people around 10PM (although there have been times I've seen him start serving around 9:30PM as well). His funda is clear - his clientele is the late-nite, after-party, intoxicated many that stumble their way into this lane, finding themselves either ordering and eating on the hoods of their vehicles, or sitting on one of the many worn-out broken plastic stools.
When it comes to food, there are about 4 options: egg bhurjee (what this guy is known for), pav bhaji, veg pulao, egg pulao and omelette. I always opt for the bhurjee, usually served with buttery hot pav, but in my case, it's not needed. A fork is enough to shovel that spicy, fluffy, eggy goodness into my mouth.
Service is what you would expect at a road-side stall - plenty of child labour running around, serving people, being berated by spoiled little shits living off their parents money, or drunk cops that swagger in looking for a free meal.
Not really sure when this guy shuts his stall, but it can't be before 3AM, as the Enigma and China House crowds (both late late night clubs) emerge and head this way as well.
Price-wise, this guy knows he's in demand, so don't expect road-side stall prices (I think a plate of bhurjee is around Rs 45).
