The pick of the litter
If you've been a Candies regular over the years (like I've been), there's nothing new to be said about the place that hasn't been said already...except if you're talking about Candies' latest avatar on St. Andrews road. God knows Candies could do with an expansion, and this outlet is a big, big step towards that. It is by far the biggest of the three Candies in Bandra, and (to my eyes at least), seems to be laid out much better too. Delightfully enough, the fellas over in the decision-making department decided to give the patrons some actual seating area spread over two levels, one of which is under development.
It's the same old wine in a brand new bottle, and it gets better with time. The chicken n cheese drumsticks, lasagna, chocolate milkshake and various bread rolls are all highly recommended as are the cinnamon tea cakes. Indulge and enjoy, for good things no longer come in only small packages...size does matter, and this place adds a much-needed dimension to the much-loved franchise.
