Disappointing Sarson da saag
Kailash Parbat has been a long time favourite for all kinds of snacks like Pani-puri, Bhel-puri etc. Over the past several months, I've also tried out their other stuff as well - South Indian, North Indian, Sandwiches etc. The food generally has been of good taste.
But, since the past couple of times, I've come back disappointed. The most recent experience was with their Sarson Da Saag, Makke di Roti and Gajar Halwa combo. The Sarson was not authentic at all. I doubt whether it was even Sarson. Even the Makke di Roti has some other flour mixed in it. The Gajar Halwa had an overdose of Ghee. The only saving grace for them was their service, hence the two stars.
Now since this is a seasonal item, the window of opportunity to savour Sarson is pretty limited. Last year we feasted on it at KP (read this - http://mumbai.burrp.com/establishment/review/6_ln).
I don't know what's up with KP (did you guys get a new cook?), please bring back authentic Sarson or stop serving it altogether. Don't ruin it for us.
