Nice place but very slow service
I had been there few days back.. I had heard lot of good things about this place and even my girlfriend told me lot of good things about it. But when we went there, we did not find the service quick enough. The table was not clean at all and I had to ask them thrice to clean the table and it took them more than 15 minutes to serve us the water. We finally managed to order the stuff, it arrived pretty late, started with chole bhature and appetizers flowed in along with the sandwich. Infact we had to complain about the service to one of the managers around (the tall fat guy) and the reason we were given was, some party is going on in the inside hall, so our guys are busy there. I did not expect such kind of excuse from a manager of the restaurant, if there is party going on then hire more staff, why should the party affect everyone. The worst part here was, the very next minute I saw most of their guys roaming around couple of firangs sitting besides us.
Talking about the food, it was pretty good, loved the chole bhature, Sandwich was just OK (I think it was some chilli maxican sandwich or something). We had also ordered some mirch kachori chaat or something, it was bad. But I guess the bad service might be one of the exceptional cases.
I am going to visit their another restaurant Vanilla tomorrow, let's see how it goes then.
