Authentic South Indian, but not quite Mysore Cafe!

Had a meal at the Woodlands Vile Parle restaurant (next to Options and Kala Niketan in Vile Parle).
The setting and service is great..
Did enjoy the Chilli idli - (fried baby idli with chinese sauces and greens - something like idle manchurian). Dieters be warned.. don't order this!
The dosas are good - but what is best is the bisi bille bhaat (am sure i have a typo there!) which is rice - kind of khichdi with veggies and some gravy mixed into it. Quite tasty and spicy, served with fried potato papad.
They have stuff like veg. thalis too - which looked good...
There is a huge terrace attached to the restaurant which is let out for kiddy parties and events..
Of course, no alcohol and non. veg food.
Try the Rasam - comes in a huge glass - and is sureshot cure for a cold...
Pricing is average to expensive for South Indian food- A meal for 3 of us cost us around Rs. 450/-
Not quite Mysore Cafe or the restaurants at Matunga and not Shiv Sagar or Shabri or Kalinga either.. A mix of both...
Cheers,
