Bade Miyan: only thing big are the prices
This place, is behind the Old Taj. It is shunned by the people in the know, and has been from the begining, only an attraction to the poor unknowing tourist, who goes to have a stroll on the Drive and thinks hes found a great place to have some of that famous Mumbai Street Food.
Bade Miyan's is overpriced and the quality has seriously gone downhill since the days of its launch, when it actually used to be one of the places i visited. There are FAR better places in S. Mumbai to have tandoori and tawa items than this, and at waay more resonable prices.
I would forgo everything if the food was good. because i am after all a gourmand, but unfortunately, the food is nothing much to write about.
