The worst Experience of my life.
Henry Tham's, a place that I had heard of from Burrp.com to be good for its food and ambiance. Well, we happened to bump into this place on 31st May to watch the semis of the IPL. Sitting in their Lounge area, we called for drinks for our selves and thats when all the problems with their services started. Here is the entire flow of all the things that happened at HENRY THAM'S WHICH IS NOT REALLY ACCEPTABLE!!
1. We were served Jim Beam instead of Jack Daniels - reason being no stock available of JDs.
2. We had called for these drinks with Red Bull and the drink was prepared by them at the Bar Counter itself and not at our Table
3. There was no Stirrer provided and we actually had to call for everything we had asked for.
4. After sipping a bit of the drink, there was froth left in our whiskey glasses which never happens. On speaking to the Manager, he got them replaced and the drinks were again made at the Bar Counter and not at the Table.
5. For almost 10 minutes we were left without drinks and in the mean time they served us the Starters WITHOUT the Service pates, Forks and Knives.
6. Sauces were actually to be called for and were not provided promptly.
7. The steward ends up serving Non-veg in the Veg Platter while he was already aware of the fact. In that case, he actually lifts the Non-veg Starter from my platter and puts it in my brother's plate! HOW THE HELL WOULD ONE ACCEPT THE FOOD TO BE PICKED FROM ONE PLATE AND PUT INTO SOMEONE Else's PLATE!!!!!
8. The second drink is called for and this time its prepared at the table. Unfortunately, FROM GOD KNOWS WHERE TWO SMALL COCKROACHES ROLL ON TO THE TABLE.... PATHETIC.... really not acceptable man.......
we decide to leave after facing so many problems with the service. Mr. Pravesh Pandey, the Restaurant Manager, addresses to all these problems with a cool and says that we are sorry for all the mishaps. By then, by brother and my friend, who had sipped the drinks here, started feeling uneasy and were not at all comfortable. After seeing this, the manager actually goes to the extent of asking my brother if he would like to have some tablets and stuff... not done as thats not the way to handle the situation.
STILL THEY BILL ME WITH Rs. 4,513/- for all the bad services and mishaps that we had to go through. I swiped my card and we left in no time, both my bro and friend were not at ease and were feeling sick.
We had to drop there back and we had to fight for the kind of treatment given to us. On asking for canceling the transaction, the so called Admin Head, MR. Krishna, tries to raise his voice and tries to catches hold of my hand as I was really not happy with the way were served and treated.
On asking for the samples and the empty bottles of the Whiskey from which we were served, they were NOT READY TO GIVE IT and said that you may do whatever you want.
THATS NOT THE WAY TO BE TREATED AND A FINE DINNING RESTAURANT AND LOUNGE. Finally, when we raised our voices and called for the cops, they feared about the incident and got our Billing transaction reversed.
CONSIDERING THE MISHAPS AND THE KIND OF SERVICE LEVELS THAT ARE PRACTICED AT THIS PLACE, I WOULD REALLY NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO EVER VISIT THIS PLACE. I WOULD APPRECIATE IF THIS FEEDBACK AND REVIEW IS CONSIDERED REST IS YOUR CALL.
CONCLUSION: WORST PLACE TO EVER VISIT AND BE PREPARED TO BE EMBARRASSED IF YOU END UP DINING HERE....
