Firstly, I stay in the suburbs. Coming all the way to Colaba means its either for a long drive or for a decent dinner. Honestly, this time was for both. I went there with my girl friend and we had the most unsatisfactory restaurant experience to date. Was really easy to get the table at 8:30 PM Sunday afternoon (should have noticed the sign for what lay ahead). Called for 2 starters, Nachos and some stuffed mushrooms.
40 mins later...
After the nachos arrived which were straight out of a heat and eat packet, we went ahead to order the main course. On inquiring where the mushrooms were, the server with great confidence tells us we never ordered them. We say no problem, get us a pizza along with the sizzler as well.
20 mins later...
The sizzler arrives, was average. Yoko sizzlers..any day. 15 minutes after the sizzler is over, we call for the check because its assumed the pizza has been forgotten. Of course here the jack ass server gets our check and pizza together. We tell him we don't want it. he starts arguing. With a firm "NO" from our end, he goes away to only make us wait 10 minutes more to receive our new check.
Please understand, that customers are not supposed to be treated this way. And BTW I saw a "Burrp Approved" frame hanging on their wall. An experience at a road side dhabba would have been better!
