It was a special occasion, so I'd made reservations for a buffet lunch at Fountain Cafe for 8 of us on the day of Dussehra...and what a mistake! The food seemed like it must have been cooked two days back and reheated several times. The salads were stale and tasted bland...the coriander soup was like dal....the vegetables were tasteless...there was only one veg starter and it was dry...cld not gulp it down my throat!
To top it all, the seats were smelly, the water glasses had stains on them...the carpet looked unwashed...and we paid Rs. 810 for this lunch which was supposed to be a special one!
The only saving grace were the deserts...and they served us icecream complimentary, which was not part of the buffet desserts.... The hotel looks completely run down and I think its actually pretty new but not maintained! Me and my family were totally disappointed....
