This almost endorses previous reviews of how pathetic are the service standards of a so-called 4 star hotel. This lounge inside the Novotel hotel in Juhu bears a neat setup of indoor seating and a laid back & casual seating in the lawn by the beach. Full marks to the ambiance and it would indeed be a great experience sitting outside in the lawn and enjoying your drinks.
What spoils the fun are the servers and bartenders. Very impolite and every word from thier mouth starts with a 'No'. On a saturday night, we were trying to squeeze in chairs in the lawn for us to make room to have our group seated. While we took effort to move the chairs/tables, there was no courteousy by the staff to be doing thier own job! On requesting them to take our order, again a No. We had to get up and get our drinks from the bar. At 11ish when we asked for some appetizers - again a NO. Dont serve appetizers in the outdoor section. At 12ish we realized that we had to move indoors as the outdoor section was to be closed. Why the ***k do you guys even have an outdoor section if you got so many restrictions??
Disappointment doesnt end there. While at the bar, we asked the bartender if he had corona - the answer - NO. Finally took a kingfisher draft for 350 odd bucks which wasnt even filled properly. Asked them for iced tea - NO. Got a mojito which was made in a v weird fashion but turned out ok. Music wasnt bad but wasnt something i would return back to.
I would try my best not to return to this lounge which is filled with servers boasting of arrogance and impoliteness.
