This subway outlet should be banned for deteriorating the brand value & the reputation carried by 'Subway'. Despite repeated disappointments by multiple visitors (burrp prior reviews confirms that) this subway branch isnt onboard to change.
Why does this place fail miserably? Here is a 10 point account on its failures and why no-one should ever visit this place.
1) This place is full of uneducated, unaware, impolite, attitude of who-cares-a-sh*t - kind of employees.
2) The breads which is one of the biggest USPs of subway - are stale - let alone freshness. And this experience is based on a morning meal. God knows how bad the breads are in the pm. And to top it off, most of the times, they dont even carry all the breads.
3) Meat is exteremely stale. Despite them heating them in the micrwave, i could still chew on the icecrumbs in the meat. They have suprisingly stopped grilling the meat. I wasnt angry that my request to grill was turned down but was angry at the way it was.
4) You would know by now that they dont carry half the sauces. I usually top by sandwich off with salt, pepper and oregano. He had the former two but latter one was bluntly responded to not having it.
5) Who cares a dam attitude - Took his own time and me asking for 3 times to take the cash but the cashier was busy chatting away with his fellow mates and he didnt even care to give me a reciept.
6) A woman asked the staff for chilli sauce which they didnt so they pour it on a lid (pepsi lid, ya) from thier sauce bottles and gave it to her. When i asked for mustard, they again in thier now almost patent bluntness denied saying it can only be put on the sandwich!.
7) I asked for a bag of indian masala chips to which he brought the yellow chips which are plain salted. I now started corresponding in hindi and reiterated my request. He then got me a bag of green colored bag chips which again werent indian masala. Almost loosing, i now asked him - 'bhaisaab hume woh neele color ka jo packet hai woh chaiye' and he got it spot on!
8) They have the fountain soda machine and i asked him for sprite to complete my meal. He came back after trying for 5 mins in that corner saying - 'empty'. I said ok, do you have thumbs up he nodded yes and i was like thumbs up will do. He came back again in lesser time - 'empty too'. Now i wasnt angry but laughing away at this setup which is more hilarious than a long heard joke! I then told him, get me whatever you have.
9) After this horrid experience, when i said down to eat my sandwich - which had it been good, i would have undermined the trouble to get through it. But it so wasnt. Precisely as a fellow burrper mentioned the moment i unwrapped the sandwich, the veggies all fell out & was a big mess. At this time, the bread too broke as it was very stale and the preparer had overpoured the sauces/dressing. It was the worst tasing subway sandwich i have eaten in all my years.
10) I would visit the bandra one anyday over this branch. Driving to this juhu location is not encouraged as there is no parking on either side and you have to find a secured parking space at a long distance and then walk up. Unlike the bandra subway, this dumpyard doesnt even have the capacity to have a valet.
This place makes a grand entry in the 'never to eat at' lists.
