Does it then automatically follow that his wife, Kastur Gandhi becomes Ba, Mother of the Nation? What does it mean to be the wife of the Mahatma to be Ba? Bapu jokingly called her Jagadamba - the Universal Mother. Was she really so? If she was, what challenges did it involve? How did she accept, face and overcome them?
