Event DetailsSoaring ballads, crunchy rock 'n' roll riffs, adventures in time signatures, 'progadelia', or just flat out improvisation. Steeped in the blues tradition of guitar playing, Ananth Menon is a veritable monster on the six strings - effortlessly straddling the two worlds of groove and technique with a feel tempered by years of playing his fingers to the bone for various blues, and rock bands. Ganesh Krishnaswamy has been intensely involved with metal for a long time, but has always nursed an open approach to the seven notes that make his world tick. Emok is one of the founders of Iboga Records in Denmark. The label has existed since 1997 and has recently expanded with two sub labels – Prestige Music and Sofa Beats. Besides the work on the labels Emok have been producing music in the Iboga studio in Copenhagen under various names.
