    James Ryan (saxophones & flute) Originating from Darwin, James Ryan has performed extensively throughout Australia and Europe, basing himself in London for four years. Following a Masters of Music majoring in Jazz the first granted by an Australian University- he taught performance, improvisation and composition at the Canberra School of Music (A.N.U.), The Queensland Conservatorium of Music (Griffith University) and the Queensland University of Technology. Scott Tinkler (trumpet) Multi-award winning recording artist: Recipient of the 2008/2009 Australia Council Music Fellowship; Winner of the National Jazz Award 1996; Winner of the 1995 ARIA Award for Best Jazz Release: FIRE; Winner of the 1998 ARIA Award for Best Jazz Release: The Future in Today. Steve Hunter (Electric Bass) Born in 1960, Steve was musical kid, but it was an encounter with a horizontal bass at age 15 that set him on a life-long obsession with music. A week later he bought a bass and wrote his first tune on the same day. Progressing quickly teaching himself, he found that a considerable facility fell into place with relative ease and was gigging shortly after. Steve loves getting involved with groups and projects outside of his own and has played and / or recorded with various ones including: Robyne Archer, Dale Barlow, Erroll Buddle Quartet and other. Ken Edie (Drummer) Eminent Australian recording artist Tutor, Queensland Conservatorium of Music. Ken has performed with all the leading Jazz musicians in Australia. He is also one of Australia's premier students of Indian music - his application of Southern Indian rhythmic techniques to jazz is renowned in Australia.
