Anuvab Pal is the writer of the cult comedy films Loins Of Punjab Presents and The President Is Coming. He's a former columnist of Time Out Mumbai and Midday. His stand up set at The Comedy Store, where he's just finished his 75th show, are about the absurdities of living in "New India".
Avinash Agarwal (IND):
A writer by profession and public speaker by passion, stand-up has been the natural direction for me to proceed in. Nothing those spectacle-bearing and cane-wielding teachers said could curb the inherent sarcasm and rebellious cynicism of the little kid I once was.
