Event DetailsA simple Spanish guitar changed the course of DJ Vishal's life. Strumming the instrument as a toddler, the music laced within him an embryo of rhythm and soul, which many years later, he would explore as beats and bounce. His transition from commercial inclination to more underground, cutting-edge music took place during his three-year stint at Velocity, one of Mumbai's great discotheques during its heyday. DJ Vishal firmly believes that if there's been any constant in his life, its change: from progressive house to the electro, moving on to minimal and techno. His greatest kick, however, comes from watching smiles of contentment on people's faces while they groove to his beats on the dance floor.
