Re-Cycled, is a night dedicated to Exploring the DNA of Music. Tunes from back in the day have been the heartbeat of so many hit tracks in recent history, and this unique event celebrates the art of sampling the Old to the New. Ever wondered where Fatboy Slim took that break from, or if Dr Dre really made that melody, well here’s your chance to find out. Re-Cycled is going to throw some surprises at you on the night. DJ Uri takes to the decks once again, bringing his upfront approach of DJ’ing, vast knowledge of Old Skool Beats and Turntable Trickery to the forefront. Alongside him DOOJ resident VJ (Zenzi), will be working in tandem with the music and providing information about the artists, tracks sampled and dates of releases for you lucky people. So for all you music lovers and we Do mean music lovers, and you lovely party people mark this night in your diary. This one off event is going to have your brains ticking.
