Room 1: Funk D'Void (Soma Records, Barcelona) (myspace/funkdvoid) is a DJ and producer who has been at the forefront of the global electronic music scene since the mid-90s. He started Djing at around the tender age of 15, running two under-18 clubs himself a perfect start to his career. Knowing his vocation to music from an early age after being brought up by his professional pianist mother, Lars never had any doubt as to where his future would lie. M Mat (myspace/bhavishyavanifuturesoundz) by now a proper French refugee in Mumbai is part of the Bhavishyavani Kru, one of the forerunners of the trendiest music scenes as well as promoting the right artistes whether international or local. Whether early or late his versatility within sets gets on the right mood for the existing situation. Dooj-Visuals, (myspace/doojramchandani) is the youngest Visual Jockey on the circuit and is one of the city's most promising Visual artistes in the years to come.
Room 2: BBC (myspace/baybeatcollective) is a combination of Raffael, Kris & Sohail, who get together to provide that alternative funk through their sets that mash up D'n'B, Dubstep, Glitchy Breaks and solid bass pressure. They are on their way up and are breathing freshness into the dancefloors all over India regularly. Mosquito Massala-Viisuals, (myspace/mosquitomassala) is a hybrid of influences from the U.K, France & India. Other than their cutting edge music styles, they are seriously famous for their visual installations, which will be on display at Zenzi Mills on the 5th Dec.
