Horrible, Horrible, Horrible and more horrible 2011-12-12
Do you like eating at a military camp and then paying for it?
Let me list a few things for you -
1. The starters have the sweat of the cook all over it. When I asked for the explanation, they said the tandoor was hot. Wondering if they ever heard of gloves?
2. Anything you order, you have to repeat your request 3 times minimum and wait for a good 20 minutes before you will get anything. We got on the main course, before we got a glass of canned orange juice, after 6 reminders. Getting the bill was quick, getting the card back took a good 25 minutes!!!! Buffet is... read more -

Went to this place after reading ga-ga reviews on burrp,but places like these make me doubt the credibility of burrp as a reliable source....The so-called panoramic views of the Arabian sea and the poolside are only a marketing ploy and these do not exist.Extremely bad service (it took them 20 minutes to get a bill for 2 drinks and 2 pax for buffet),below average food,average ambience....Would not recommend this to my enemies also.... -

We are always fond of Sun n sand food and were very eager to try out the renovated coffee shop seeing the banner put up. Very well done up & comfortable, though the airconditioning was too strong. Their new menu is totally different, with no pizzas listed at all, but the staff served us , their pizzas are to die for. Vegetarian options were a somewhat limited. The food is still outstanding , the service very prompt with the Manager checking on us for suggestions often. Desserts were out of this world, we'll go late nights just to have dessert, they give coffee free with it. -

NEW AQUA WITH DISENGAGED OLD EMPLOYEES 2011-07-09
we were at aqua last night... the most horandous experience i have ever had. .i requested for mashed potato instead of fries.. i get the answer that "it is our rules and regulations and we cannot change dishes". service is really bad. infact, there is no service... the are there to do why they want to do rather to create any experience. not recommended at all if you want meal experience... food was not bad -

Its a good chilled out place that is neither too formal nor too casual but somewhere in between.
Food: They serve the Indian gravies with roti, papad and black dal. Not gourmet but not bad either. The pasta in creamy pesto was nice with pine nuts.
Service: The staff seems a bit dim but no major issues. They only insist on clearing the plates too soon. Don't know if they are being super efficient or hinting you should leave (even though it was only half full)
Damages: Pitcher of beer is Rs 600, pasta & Indian gravies (around Rs 450)
Good place to go to when one -

this place can be called as a spot of all of the above.
the ups is the sea facing view and the very nice and cool management.
they serve u all kinds of cusine here
the pizzas are delicious and crunchy
you can see the best of best over here.
food and drinks for 2 cost about 1000-1500
but the buffet is neat...good variety of veg and non veg starters / main course and desserts
strongly recommend the buffet .
try the golden fried prawns here
you will find lots of teenagers here and even more businessmen trying to have meetings over a meal .

Dev may be lurking around 2008-04-25
One of the good places that has been in existence from time memorial. Once upon a time, Dev Anand used to keep a suite facing this & pretty faces used to prattle around. They make a mean cocktail & the service is friendly. Worth a dekko definitely.
Who knows Dev may need a Leading Maan!!! -

nice, relaxing poolside ambiance 2006-12-16
Aqua is a nice, relaxing poolside bar experience for those looking for a place to just enjoy drinks with friends. No need to fear pickups, cheesy one-liners or aggressive people. This place tends to be chilled out and just the perfect spot in the suburbs if you are not looking for a rocking party. Servers are old, sweet men wearing kurtas (given the attached kebab restaurant), so tip them well, they deserve it.
I only wish they had healthier variety of vegetarian starters...but perfect for meat lovers... -
