Good Food - very Sad Service 2012-04-04
Been there on a Sat nite...but luckily we got a table for 6 people though we were only 4. Ordered lovely Tomyumsoup -, Chilly Garlic fried potatoes. Chilly Garlic Noodles which was spicy & good. Had for main course the Chicken in Black bean Sauce which was great. Also had the Chicken Butter Burnt Garlic Fried rice which was real real good. Service was really terrible - waiter had to be told - serve us water, serve us food, get us sauce, time & time again. Rubbish food quality 2011-12-16
Very badly cooked noodles, absolutely inedible and curries were unpalatable.
The prawn starter was more corn flour than prawn. Not worth the money. Total let down for a weekend dinner! Someone should fire the head chef, instead of supervising his cooking, he was outside hogging. The waiters were extremely nice, some bordering on obsequious. -

Was here for dinner yesterday. The craving for Chinese was multiplied as soon as we stepped in. After a little wait we got the table and placed the orders. Peppery lemon prawn soup, Chicken dumplings and three flavoured chicken for starters and Beijing style claypot vegetable rice with glazed sapo chicken in claypot for main course. While the food was absolutely delicious the service wasn't up to the mark. First of all they didn't write down the order and got confused. Not worth it at all 2011-10-15
Absolutely poor food and awefool service. We been there for weekday lunch still there was no attention to the customer. Few options in the menu and on top of it, things were unavailable out of that limited options.
No aroma in the food and china was just getting reflated in the uniform of the staff but not in the food at all.
Dishes were expensive, quantity was less and service was too late.

worst food & service 2011-10-13
well... in all the places i have explored so far in this city - this was the worst. on a weekday when its not very crowded still had to keep calling for waiters for simple service like water.worst place for vegetarians to get into....on top of the worst experience - it was creamed with the little sticking to the corner quantity they serve - hell at least after paying so much one would expect to step out with full stomach - all i have at the end to close is - i will never ever step into this place - no matter what!!!! :X:X:X:X -

v been there 4 dinner.....first of all no much variety in veg....
v have ordered
Eight Treasure veg thick soup – not that gr8 in test
Deep fried dragon rolls – not gr8 what cost they take for it….it’s not worth
Pan fried noodles canto veg – when they bought I ws like I m patient ?? who is not spouse to eat any spices…………..apart of quantity is so less that u start feeling ur paying so much but in return it's not worth to pay in test & quantity....useless place for dinner never ever again -

extremely poor service 2011-03-19
My family and me were extremely dissatisfied with the service at this place. We had to keep calling out to the waiters to take our orders , serve water or finally even get the cheque. It is extremely frustrating and disturbing to have such poor customer service. In spite of telling the staff regarding the same no one even has the courtesy to apologise. All the staff really need some lessons on customer service!! -

I had been to other places managed by BJN group ..... like angithee (vileparle), but my experience at Aromas of China (goregaon) made me reconsider their reputation.
1) To start with, when i reached there the girl at the reception was busy gigling on the phone she needed to be disturbed.
2) The waiter who served me niether could speak proper english nor hindi, he might know chinese.
3) i ordered a drink and a chicken dish (which is supposed to have roasted sesame seeds).
4) after waiting for more than 30 min, when i tried to know what has happened to the chicken order... read more -

High Cost - Small Quantity 2011-01-25
Imagine this nearly 600Rs for a prawn starter and u barely get 8 medium pieces. Over Rs. 200 for a Choco spring roll as desert and u get 6 pieces of 1/2 sized choco sticks barely the size of a medium cigarrette. Your menu from starters soup to desert is barely 2 pages two sides. Your waiter looks chinese (apt for a china rest.) but barely understands all the word u say. All this and more. The bill was huge but we went home hungry. Not coming back here again. -
