Mr. Vishal Chawla (owner) extremely belligerent!! 2011-07-06
Bottomline - ordered food @ 9:34 p.m. which wasn't delivered for over 1 hr 15 mins. And my home is literally 10 mins away, in Powai. Then when I called up the guy (he said he was the owner, named Vishal), he was extremely rude and said that I should send the food back if it's a problem. No sense of business, no sense of speaking to clients and from the other reviews I've read on this site, I don't believe I missed out on much! Vishal, my boy, pick up some tips from your dad, Mr. Vijay Chawla, on how to run a business, alright son? Otherwise, you'll have to shut shop soon, and people won't be missin... read more -

Why sell something you don't know to make??? 2011-04-13
I ordered from the Asain Wok restaurant newly opened in Powai. We ordered for Indonesian Nasi Goreng and Thai saucy Chicken. It took full one hour to deliver at a 10 minute residence after repeated calls. And Lo-behold!! it was a disaster. I had been to Indonesia for a holiday and ever since have become a fan of Indonesian Nasi Goreng. The one delivered was either a chef's mistake in packing or he doesn't know what has been ordered. Asian Wok @ carter road - abs crap service.... 2 hrs to deliver just one red thai red curry which btw turned out to b super bad.... was watery... hardly any coconut added which made it like crap! Criminal waste of money! -

I asked home delivery of fried rice and chicken manchurian, to my surprise, there was hardly any chicken in chicken manchurian, it was a piece as small as a groundnut.the taste was good but quantity and price not worth. -

U know how there are these places you're dying to try and when u get around to it, it's seldom worth it? But Asian WOK was sooo worth it!! First off, I dont know how anyone can call this place expensive? It's v reasonably priced especially considering how good the food is! The first time I went there was with my boyfriend and we had mongolian stirfry with burmese khowsuey yum yum yummy.... N the ttl bill was barely some 400 bucks! Which is crazyyyy cheap! The next time I went with my friends and i kid u not we tried almost every single starter veg n non veg & the bill was under 400! U must try... read more -

seriously. you have to try it.
avoid home delivery, though. their delivery guy can't tell his ass from his elbows. it took him 2 hours to get my food to me once. -

GOOD FOOD (Still Disappointed) 2010-02-22
Read all the reviews here and went to try it. Though I was disappointed by the place. Wish people wouldn't give such high ratings without understanding them. Even though restaurant was very nice and the food was good enough to try once. Service was very slow. I had to wait 30 min just for a glass of water !!! The food was nice but a tad bit over pricey. And to top it off in the end half of the Sweet dishes were not available. But in the end I loved the food there and urge people to try it once. -

Excellent food and great service 2010-02-01
I and 15 members of my family went to this restaurant in Mumbai. The food was excellent and so was the service. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great. Being a large group we asked for the chef to recommend items from the menu which he very kindly did. All the items we ordered were really nice and the sizzling Chocolate Browne for desert was the icing on the cake. I live in London and regularly eat out, but I can say that this is the best Chinese meal I have had.
I highly recommend Asian Wok and I will surely be returning to it next time I am in Mumbai. -

We were 4 of us who went to Asian Wok, a nice and cozy place for dinner and we had a great time. The food was amazin! We ordered the chicken satay which was tender and very well marinated u must have it with the sauces they give u, prawns in butter garlic very which was nicely flavored and 3 veg platter.
We loved the Mangolian Stir Fry & the Khowsuey! And the steam pomfret was to die for. Very well presented as well…
The service was excellent. The owner vishal was very helpful and suggested some excellent dishes. And to our surprise we didn't end up with a huge bill.

Great Food & Value for Money 2009-12-09
3 of us went for lunch today. we started with 2 soups. Veg Tom Kha & Sweet Corn Chicken. I've always loved the portions of the soups here.. a big fan.. 5 stars for the soups..specially the Tom Kha..great flavors..Next on our menu was the Bangkok Style Crispy Chicken.. It was the highlight of the meal..Came with nice puffy fried noodles, and large enough for four people..really great flavors which were not at all overwhelmed by the spiciness in it.
For the main course we order Burmese chicken khouswey.. very rarely do we get authentic khouswey in Mumbai..this was truly delicious... the portion... read more -
