Went there Saturday 20/08/2011..table for two (indoor)..
Called them at 9:15 pm was arranged a table by the time I reached 9:40pm (Manager: RIZWAN)...
AMBIANCE was great as Aurus has very well done up interiors.
Restaurant was not too crowded, and music was not too loud either (soft lounge/house music).
The SERVICE was impeccable. Right from taking down my order, suggestions, checking up on me, and customizing the dish to my taste right upto execution was just perfect.
The FOOD itself was very well cooked. Great Presentation. I had the seared steak (indian) and the sauce accompanying the steak was delicious. It was a perfect medium-well done tenderloin as I had asked for.
My friend had the fresh pomfret which was actually FRESH and also tasted very good (great marination, sauce and other extras on the plate)
It is slightly on the EXPENSIVE side but fine dining always comes with a cost, Always, so be prepared.
Total DAMAGE for two including two main course entrees (1.) steak and 2.) pomfret) and one fresh lime mocktail Rs. 1800 with tax etc.
My server ROOSEVELT was very well versed with dishes on the menu and did a great job at helping us pick the right dishes.
Special mention for their complimentary bread basket, the bread in there is fresh and delicious of different varieties, something definitely I will savor and remember until my next visit :-).
