    The first time I visited Aurus was earlier this year and on a weekend, when they were hosting the Sunset Grills. I tried out New Zealand Lamb Chops and they were simply mind blowing! I was there again last month and tried out ‘Raw Mango Martini’. It’s something which I had never tried before and again went home with a happy experience. Everything about Aurus is just about perfect, making it one of the best restaurants in the city.

    Ideal place for a romantic date,’ that’s how I would describe Aurus. It’s so very Mediterranean. The food is quite good, but the ambience added to it, makes the overall experience superb. I was there on a weekday with my husband, and he too loved it. We ordered for veg risotto and also pasta. We both liked the food as its rare these days to be served good vegetarian Italian food.

    After an initial few hiccups while making a reservation, the manager (Julian) did a fantastic job in working towards living up to the age-old adage of "Customers come first". And that was just the first step towards their team making it a memorable evening (and Mother's Day for my mum) at one of the most peaceful, scenic and beautiful restaurants in Mumbai. I would highly recommend the lamb sliders and the salmon with cous cous was very well done. They even made up for the mishap with the reservations by offering free dessert.
