Walk into this comfortable, neighborhood prohibition-themed speakeasy, and you will instantly feel at ease. No pretentiousness here, only a call-back to the 1920s era in the United States when alcohol was banned, and the country became rife with mafioso-stye criminals, adorned in zoot suits and fedoras, fighting to control turfs of speakeasies to be their suppliers of smuggled whisky and other spirits.

drum thursday rocked..... 2009-04-17
well when i entered this place wid my friends....i was really impressed with the ambiance....the music is really good.....but rates are too much....very expensive.....after some point of time we got really bored....we were thinking of leaving the place but some black dancers came on the little platform and performed really good belly dancing nd some other style of dance....that girl was really interacting nd asked us to play the drums besides our chairs to different tunes....and it was too good fun..... -

Went on a Friday evening around 8:30. Surprisingly there only men here and maybe one girl besides me. Maybe it was a one off thing.
The place is not bad but the crowd was. Left after a drink.
They have a paneer started in some green gravy which was really good. Onion rings were very greasy but ok.
Can't even think of one reason I would want to visit again. -

Decent hangout 2008-08-19
I frequented this spot on a Saturday night with a few of my college friends. The music was the first thing that struck me about this place, the in-house DJ played some really nice tunes. The tunes were non-Bollywood, non-commercial, and he played some R.E.M., Third-eye blind and such. The music did get a little commercial round 12.30 AM with some Timbaland and Snoop dogg and random hip-hop.
The drinks were good, they were adequately stiff, were relatively inexpensively priced too at about Rs. 300 for a scotch and soda and the service was very much acceptable.

Not exactly a week day bar! 2008-06-18
I always thought Pasta Lane was one of the seedier parts of Colaba and was pleasantly surprised that it was quite a normal lane. Almost at the beginning of the turn off to this gully, is an almost miss-it -bar called Bootlegger.
Even though we went there at 10 in the night, it was dead outside and even deader inside. Sad really because the place had a great atmosphere. A huge flat screen showing ESPN, great posters of gangsters, a well stocked bar and fantastic music should have made it a perfect place to hang out.
