poor service! 2011-06-10
took more than hour to serve a 2 capp and a muffin. visit if u have couple of hrs just to drink coffee. only positive about this place is its location. -

Poor service, ignorant staff 2011-01-23
It was Saturday night, the mood was set and I decided to grab my favorite CCD dessert Choc hola, but the staff didn't just bother to entertain me. After waiting for about 5 minutes after placing my order, the person at the counter asks me, "What do you want, sir?".
Then due to some technical error, he was not able to punch my order, so he starts taking orders from other customers and completely ignores me. When I asked politely, "Should I go to some other place as you seem pretty occupied?", they seemed completely unconcerned about it.

horrible and worst experience 2010-12-10
We al visited on a saturday night
definitely shouldn't visit this one..
we ordered a granita.. after half an hour the waiter says its not available...
place was overcrowded..
very bad service..
disgusting coffee tasted like water///
to top it off the bill that was charged was too much for 3 coffees. and the charges were not the same as mentioned in themenu..
we bought this to notice of manager but he was rude and didn't bother to understand, forget expecting any help
I am never ever visiting this horrible place.. -

Cafe Coffee Day- one brand which is the most preferred hangout for the young - or so to say. The least one can expect is a standard conduct if nothing else. Out of all the outlets I have frequented, I can consider this as the most dissapointing. Last evening, we planned to grab a coffee cuppa before heading for dinner. Following is our experience in pointers:
1. Considering the outlet was jam packed, we didnt expect an outstanding service. The order for a cappuccino was declined, saying they have run out of it! I mean that's the basic form of coffee! Never the less they got it with the rest... read more -

ITS HORRIBLE 2010-01-21
The place is located perfectly jus infront of the lovely sea. The service is not good at all. 30 mins to take the order and another 1hr to get the order. Had placed order for 4 different things, the waiter jus got 2 things. 1 mins to get the bill also. In the end a horrible exp. -

More dislikes than likes. 2010-01-07
Invariably the ice is over so one has to order other items.
in spite of having a big place they always in the evenings put a 'no entry' or 'reserved' sign for the free space on the other side which makes the place cramped,noisy.
the waiters r too few so many times they tend to forget or ignore a new customer or dont give the entire placed order..
so pls increase the staff,
keep some more fresh food and ice.
for god's sake in spite of a working wash room in the day time it is 'out of order' post 5 pm...pls consider.

I love this place, it's at the perfect location and the outdoor sitting is just amazing. The coffee, the ambiance and the sea-view sets the perfect mood. But the last time I went there, I was really disappointed with the service.
I went there at midnight on a weekday and ordered for a dessert and a coffee. While I was still having my coffee, the waiter walked up to my table and said that they were shutting so we had to hurry up. We were like okay get us the cheque. The best one ever!!!! 2009-09-07
This is the best CCD outlet i have been to, and keep coming back again and again. If i am anywhere near to carter road, i just feel the need to drop to this coffee shop. This is because i am a huge coffee fan and moreover a ccd fan.
Very ideally located and the crowd is always amazing.
The cool breeze is awesome and there is always derth of space outside. As the breeze is better than sitting in AC section. -
