  • WORST SERVICE EVER! 2012-03-04

Been going to this place for ages..but the horrifying service made me swear never to set foot here again..even after calling out to the server not less than 20times(when he was standing right in front of me), they pretended to not hear..finally just got frustrated and left..
in this day and age, restaurants go out of the way to serve their customers..but with candies..NO!!
i think Bandra has no dearth of places..so u can surely avoid going to this one!

  • can't really go wrong here 2010-05-02

there's nothing really great and nothing really terrible about candies.

    pros:
    * the food's decent
    * the one in pali naka has a really fantastic outdoor ambiance
    * the value for money's good.

    cons:
    * they're literally the most disorganised restaurant i've ever seen. it is NOT that hard to figure out: there's food behind a counter, a cashier, and a queue. it's not even a question of undestaffed, since very often you see people going unserved, and half the staff standing around doing nothing.

i wish they'd sort that out.

  • Small and Sweet 2010-01-20

If you are fed up waiting in the long queue at the Pali hill Candies, then step into the candies at Union Park right next to Petits School. It is small and its usually difficult to get a table. There are only four tables and there is only an outdoor section.
If you plan to take away, this place is ideal. Before the Pali outlet got so popular, this outlet was my regular hangout. I still love it very much but prefer to take away or have a quick bite.

  • Perfect Little Eatery 2009-08-28

I've had heard so much about Candies that I was glad to finally make my way there last Saturday. The place is really tiny and cute. They have a self-service counter indoors with endless food options on display from lasagna and sandwiches to curries with roti/rice. And let's not forget lip-smacking desserts like cheese cake, tarts, pastries and chocolates. Drinks on offer are iced tea, fresh lime with strawberry crush, cold coffee (supposed to be the best), etc. You basically order, pay and carry your tray to one of the 4 tiny tables on the porch outside. (This outlet is essentially for take aways)... read more

  • Snack Away ............. 2007-03-21

Candies - and this work equally well for the Reclamation and Union Park outlet - is overall a great place!

The Big Plus - the Food. I have done take-away from both outlets on numerous occassions, and really, have never been disappointed. From the small 'mini meals' and chinese, to the sandwiches and rolls, to the desserts and cakes - all good !! Great variety too (all snacks or such like) which works when you have people with different likings, though very little Indian. And, there drinks (coolers etc.) are not too bad either.

The watchouts - (1) Calories - most of their food

  • love the place 2006-10-06

A nice informal place...hidden in a corner cut away from the traffic n surrounded by greens...amazin ambiance....
almost everything here is made to perfection...n is rightly priced...
their salads n the lil chocolates are real winners...also try out their lemon chesse cake..its yum!!

jst the place is a lil small n gets cramped up in the evenings bt so much for good food..
